Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a suturing device that does not require much skill or technique even with the use of a suture thread, and with which even wide-range suturing can be performed in a short time. The present invention includes: a longitudinal first housing 12 and a longitudinal second housing 14 that are provided so as to be capable of approaching and separating from each other for sandwiching a pair of objects T to be sutured; a plurality of needles 26 that are arranged, in the first housing 12, at prescribed intervals in the longitudinal direction of the first housing 12 and so as to point toward the second housing 14, and that are capable of holding a suture thread L at distal end sections thereof; a needle moving mechanism 41 that moves the plurality of needles 26 toward the second housing 14; and a thread hook 60 that is provided, in the second housing 14, so as to be movable along the arrangement direction of the plurality of needles 26 for hooking the suture thread L that has reached the second housing 14 after passing through the pair of objects T to be sutured by means of the plurality of needles 26 that have been moved by the needle moving mechanism 41. Therefore, with a mechanical motion based on a simple operation, a seam N is formed on the pair of objects T to be sutured in a simple and reliable manner.
