Abstract:
Provided are a tire production method and a device, whereby a tire having at least either improved uniformity or improved dynamic balance can be manufactured with good productivity. For each tire T, for which a plurality of green tires G having the same specifications have been inserted and vulcanized, at different positions in the tire circumferential direction and on to the same vulcanizing machine 9 using a placement mechanism 11: characteristic value data for at least either a UF value or a DB value and insertion position data specifying the position of the inserted green tire G on the vulcanizing machine 9 in the tire circumferential direction are stored in a storage unit 3b; the tire circumferential direction position of the green tire G relative to the vulcanizing machine 9 at which the characteristic value pertaining to this characteristic value data is within the permissible range is calculated by a calculation unit 3a on the basis of this stored data; the placement mechanism 11 is used to adjust a new green tire G to be vulcanized, to the calculated position in the tire circumferential direction on the vulcanizing machine 9; and the new green tire is inserted onto the vulcanizing machine 9.
