Abstract:
Provided is a swage nut capable of preventing or suppressing deformation of a threaded hole of a nut part thereof. A swage nut 1 is provided with a nut part 2 in which a threaded hole 7 is formed, and a swage part 5 formed axially extending from an end surface 2a of the nut part 2. The swage part 5 is formed in a tapered tubular shape that decreases in outer diameter from the proximal end toward the distal end. On the swage part 5 side of the nut part 2, an outer circumferential end surface 8 is formed on the outer circumferential side of the swage part 5, and an inner circumferential end surface 9 is formed on the inner circumferential side of the swage part 5. At the proximal end part of the swage part 5, an outer radius part 10 having an arc-like cross-sectional shape is formed connecting an outer circumferential surface 5a of the swage part 5 and the outer circumferential end surface 8, and an inner radius part 11 having an arc-like cross-sectional shape is formed connecting an inner circumferential surface 5b of the swage part 5 and the inner circumferential end surface 9. The radius R1 of the outer radius part 10 is set greater than the radius R2 of the inner radius part 11.
