Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a switching control method for a terminal, a base station, and a storage medium. The method comprises: after a source side determines that a mode switching is required for a first terminal, generating a switching reconfiguration message used to instruct the first terminal to perform mode switching, the switching reconfiguration message comprising target configuration information to be used after the first terminal switches to a target mode; and the source side terminating, for the first terminal, uplink scheduling other than SRs, and then sending the switching reconfiguration message to the first terminal. Since all uplink scheduling except for SRs is terminated for the first terminal before the switching reconfiguration message is sent, the first terminal does not have any other uplink information except for SR uplink transmission while the switching reconfiguration message is being sent, such manner of sending the switching reconfiguration message matches the half-duplex operation characteristic of terminals in eMTC, thereby significantly increasing the success rate for sending the switching reconfiguration message, accordingly increasing the switching success rate for terminals, and improving user experience.
