Abstract:
Provided is a synthetic fiber treatment agent which inhibits a filament produced for use in a synthetic fiber from undergoing a physical change over time during post-production storage of the filament (package) so as to enable later processing to be performed stably on the filament over a long period of time. This synthetic fiber treatment agent comprises a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether (A) represented by general formula (1) and a specific polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether (B), wherein the nonvolatile component of the treatment agent has a kinetic viscosity of 100-250 mm2/s at 30°C.
