Abstract:
Provided is a synthetic polymer that is represented by the following general formula, that has a copolymerized structure in which the molecular chain (R1-X1-R1) and the molecular chain (R2-X2-R2) in the formula are joined in an alternating manner, and that has a mean molecular weight distribution of not more than 1.10. -[(R1-X1-R1)-(R2-X2-R2)]n- (where: [(R1-X1-R1)-(R2-X2-R2)] is a repeating unit; R1 is a divalent linking group derived from a functional group that bonds with an active hydrogen group or with an unsaturated bond group; R2 is a divalent linking group derived from an active hydrogen group or from an unsaturated bond group; R1 and R2 may be the same or different; X1 and X2 are each a divalent linking group; X1 and X2 may be the same or different; n is greater than or equal to 2; in an n-number of repeating units, X1, R1, and R2 each consist of one respective type, but X2 comprises one or more types; and (R1-X1-R1) and (R2-X2-R2) differ from each other.)
