Abstract:
This synthetic resin container lid is used on a container in which a male threading and an engaging jaw part disposed below said male threading are formed on the outer peripheral surface of a neck part. The synthetic resin container lid includes a main body and a tamper-evident base part, is not separated entirely from the neck part of the container even after the neck part of the container is opened, and is improved such that even if the axial length of the container lid is relatively short, when the main body, removed from the neck part, is twisted to a prescribed opening position, the main body is sufficiently reliably held in the open position, and also such that when the main body is twisted to the open position, a sound audible to the consumer is sufficiently reliably generated. In an angle region in which there is a protruding piece that is formed at least on the skirt wall of the main body, an extending portion is formed on an engaging piece that is formed on the tamper-evident base part. In a state in which the synthetic resin container lid is mounted on the neck part, said extending portion is positioned between the engaging jaw part of the neck part and the tamper-evident base part.
