Abstract:
A syringe assembly (10) is provided with: a syringe (12); a grip (16) fitted to a barrel (18) of the syringe (12); and a protective device (14) including a cover member (32) which covers a needle tip (27) after puncture. The grip (16) includes a guide tube (42) which extends in a tip end direction from an extended body portion (40) and which supports and guides from the outside the cover member (32) during relative displacement of the cover member (32) in the axial direction relative to the barrel (18). An inner circumferential surface of the guide tube (42) is capable of coming into contact with an outer circumferential surface of the cover member (32) in an initial state.
