Abstract:
This syringe pump delivers a liquid accommodated in a syringe provided with an outer cylinder and a plunger, through a tube connected to the tip end of the outer cylinder. The syringe pump is provided with: a placement part on which the syringe is placed; a clamp part which can be switched between an open state in which a flow path demarcated by the tube is open, and a closed state in which the flow path is closed, while in a state of sandwiching the tube; a slider which is provided with a plunger fixing part for fixing the plunger of the syringe placed in the placement part, and which is capable of moving so as to engage with the plunger; and a plunger fixing detection unit which detects that the plunger is fixed to the plunger fixing part. The clamp part can be switched into the open state on the basis of the plunger fixing detection unit detecting the fixing of the plunger.
