Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to make use of a lightweight communication protocol to collect, all at once, sensing data and metadata that pertains to normality of apparatuses. The present disclosure is a system for using a data collection network to collect, in a data collection unit, sensing data from a sensor terminal, wherein: the sensor terminal has a detection unit for detecting metadata pertaining to its own internal information, other than a sensor device for detecting apparatus information and sensing data; the metadata detected by the detection unit is transmitted by using an extended region or optional region, which is within a frame stipulated by a communication protocol for transmitting the sensing data or the apparatus information, and which is also stipulated by the communication protocol; and the data collection unit associates the sensing data, the apparatus information, and the metadata with one another on the basis of information for identifying the sensor terminal that is listed in the frame.
