Abstract:
[Problem] To detect a failure in advance in an agricultural machine for spraying a chemical, and use the agricultural machine safely. [Solution] This system for failure detection provided in an agricultural machine for spraying a chemical has: a pressure sensor provided in a path from a chemical tank for storing the chemical to a discharge port for the chemical; and a failure detection means that detects a failure of the agricultural machine, wherein the failure detection means acquires the variation in the discharge pressure of the chemical over time by means of a pressure sensor and detects a failure on the basis of the acquired variation in the discharge pressure of the chemical over time.
