Abstract:
The present disclosure provides methods and system for extraction of a video thumbnail from a video file, the video file being associated with one or more first parameters. The method dynamically identifies by an optimum optimizer, an optimum extractor based on the first parameters of the video file and historical data. The method further extracts, by the optimum extractor, one or more tracks, each track being associated with one or more second parameters. Thereafter the method dynamically identifies, by the optimum optimizer, an optimum decoder based on the one or more second parameters and the historical data. Further the method decodes the one or more tracks by the dynamically identified optimum decoder. The method then extracts by a thumbnail extractor unit, a video thumbnail based on the decoding.
