Abstract:
A system and method for improving the water quality of a dehydrating tower of a purified terephthalic acid apparatus. In order to solve the problems in the prior art, provided in the present invention is a treatment system for improving the water quality of the dehydrating tower of a purified terephthalic acid apparatus. The system comprises a dehydrating and washing apparatus, a tail gas condensation apparatus which is in communication with the top of the dehydrating and washing apparatus, and a water separation apparatus which is in communication with the tail gas condensation apparatus. The present invention has the beneficial effects that 1) the energy consumption is reduced, and the economic benefit is significant; 2) in the tail gas condensation apparatus, about 0.05 MPa low-pressure steam, which is generated by an Nmth-stage condenser, is used as a heating medium; 3) a water separation tower is a tower-type multi-effect evaporative water separation tower, the working media are water and low-pressure steam, and there is no organic phase participating in the process, thereby ensuring stable reactions and intrinsic safety; and 4) the water in the water separation tower is divided into purified water and concentrated water, wherein the purified water returns to the top of the dehydration tower, and the concentrated water enters the dehydrating tower after being mixed with a mother liquor, thereby improving the efficiency of the dehydrating tower and improving the water quality.
