Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method for managing a carbon emission reduction on the basis of the amount of electricity used to charge an electric vehicle. The method for managing a carbon emission reduction on the basis of the amount of electricity used to charge an electric vehicle, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving a user identifier for an electric vehicle user and the amount of charging electricity having been supplied to the electric vehicle; calculating a carbon emission reduction for the user corresponding to the amount of charging electricity in a manner varying according to user types; and accumulating and managing carbon emission reductions for a plurality of users including the user, on a prescribed basis.
