Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for storing natural fresh water which prevents pollution of rivers by temporarily storing stormwater that is introduced in excess due to exceeding a sewage processing capacity in a storage tank by means of a powerless technique, and then processing the stormwater before releasing into a river. The system for storing natural fresh water according to the present invention comprises: a stormwater overflow chamber, which is formed at the end of a sewage pipe for normally introducing sewage, and which comprises a closing plate that closes by means of buoyancy when the water level rises inside; an intercepting manhole, which is installed after the stormwater overflow chamber on the sewage pipe, for introducing sewage that exceeds a specific quantity, and which comprises a backflow prevention panel that closes by means of buoyancy when the water level rises inside; a first connection pipe for connecting the stormwater overflow chamber and an intercepting pipeline to guide the sewage that is introduced into the overflow chamber to a sewage treatment plant; a wash tub on one side wall of which an inlet for receiving the sewage that has passed through the intercepting manhole is formed, and on the upper end of an opposite side wall of which an overflow step having the shape of an opening is formed; a storage tub on the lower end of one side wall of which a first drain for discharging stored sewage is formed, and on the one side wall at a specific upward distance away from the first drain a second drain is formed, for storing the sewage that has passed through the overflow step in the wash tub; a discharge manhole which is provided so as to communicate with the ground from the back ends of the first and second drains; a second connection pipe for connecting the first and second drains from the back ends of the first and second drains with the intercepting pipeline so as to guide and discharge the sewage stored in the storage tub via the intercepting pipeline; and a water level detection sensor for detecting the water level inside the intercepting pipeline. According to the present invention, provided is the system for storing natural fresh water, which can transform sewage into natural fresh water by means of the powerless method and wash the wash tub my means of the powerless method thereby effectively reducing construction costs compared to existing methods, and which is not vulnerable to damages due to a malfunction or a power outage thereby processing non-point pollution by using a stable storage facility.
