Abstract:
Disclosed is a base station, comprising a determination unit, which, for each respective combination of modulation protocol and coding rate, when accommodating a predetermined quantity of terminals to be accommodated upon the base station, pre-computes an approved throughput for each of the terminals thereupon, compares a guaranteed minimum rate of a terminal to be controlled with the approved throughput thereof, and determines a minimum physical rate that guarantees bandwidth based on the results of the comparison, and a control unit, which executes control upon the terminal to be controlled, predicated upon executing an adjusted modulation at the minimum physical rate as determined by the determination unit.
