Abstract:
A power system, comprising a power-supply device having an output, the power-supply device being configured to provide output power to the output of the power-supply device, and control circuitry configured to receive voltage information indicative of a voltage of a battery, determine that the voltage of the battery is above a first voltage threshold, activate a shutdown signal responsive to determining that the voltage of the battery is above the first voltage threshold, determine that the voltage of the battery is below a second voltage threshold, the second voltage threshold being less than the first voltage threshold, control the power-supply device to disable the output power to the output of the power-supply device responsive to determining that the voltage of the battery is below the second voltage threshold and that the shutdown signal is activated, and control the power-supply device to provide the output power to the output of the power-supply device responsive to determining that the voltage of the battery is below the second voltage threshold and that the shutdown signal is not activated.
