Abstract:

[Problem] To make it possible to produce and maintain the optimal positional relationship between a detection part on the tape printing device side and a detected part on the tape cartridge side. [Solution] A tape cartridge (100) to be attached in a detachable manner to a tape printing device (1) provided with a sensor unit (310) for reading type information with regard to the tape cartridge (100) from a type readout pattern (145); wherein the tape cartridge (100) is provided with the type readout pattern (145) provided on the base end surface of a cartridge case (130) and a positioning hole part (182) provided on the reverse surface of the cartridge case (130), the positioning hole part (182) engaging with a positioning pin (326) provided to a sensor holder (312) and positioning the sensor unit (310) and the type readout pattern (145) with respect to each other through the sensor holder (312).
