Abstract:
A taping device 10 which, at an affixing position T, bonds a cover tape Q to a carrier tape P into which an electronic component W has been introduced into a pocket P1 at an inserting position I, to enclose the electronic component W, is provided with: an upper side guide 21 disposed on an upper side of the carrier tape P; a slide member 38 which includes a cover portion 41 and is attached movably to the upper side guide 21; a driving means 43 for moving the slide member 38 between a standard position of the slide member 38 in which the cover portion 41 covers the pocket P1 from the upper side thereof, and an open position of the slide member 38 in which the upper side of the pocket P1 is open; and a removing means 37 for removing an abnormal electronic component W from the pocket P1 the upper side of which has been opened.
