Abstract:
Provided are a target tracking method and a target tracking system. The target tracking method comprises: receiving a target tracking request and feature information about the target to be tracked, sent by a target management server; determining a search range for indicating a potential position range of the target according to the feature information about the target, and establishing a search terminal group within the search range, wherein the search terminal group comprises one or more search terminals located within the search range; performing target position information acquisition processing to acquire the target position information for indicating the position of the target from the target information sent by the search terminal in the search terminal group; and determining the trajectory of the target according to the acquired target position information.
