Abstract:
A task prompting method, comprising: displaying, in a display interface, a virtual game scene where a target virtual character is located, wherein a virtual task needing to be executed by the target virtual character is provided in the virtual game scene (S202); in response to a target trigger operation executed on a movement control on the display interface, determining a relative position relationship between a character position where the target virtual character is currently located and a task execution position where a candidate virtual task is located, wherein the movement control is used for controlling the target virtual character to move in the virtual game scene, and the candidate virtual task is a virtual task that has not been executed (S204); and in a prompt position matching the relative position relationship in a task prompt area configured for the movement control, providing a prompt of directional navigation information of the task execution position (S206).
