Abstract:
Provided is a high-accuracy temperature detection device. A D/A conversion circuit is constituted by a ladder network (23), constant current circuits (CC0-CC3), and switch circuits (SW0-SW3). The switch circuits (SW0-SW3) are switched in accordance with adjusted data values determined in advance such that the temperature detection value (Vt) is within a prescribed range, and a diode or other temperature-sensitive circuit is held at a threshold temperature for overheat protection operation. When interrupting a connection between a constant current circuit (CC0-CC3) and a current terminal (N0-N3), each switch circuit (SW0-SW3) connects the constant current circuit in question to a common terminal (Nc), whereby the voltage flowing to the temperature-sensitive circuit is constant irrespective of the adjusted data values, and the correction resolution (∆V) of the temperature detection value (Vt) is constant.
