Title:
TEMPERATURE-RESPONSIVE CELL CULTURE BEADS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/029877
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Temperature-responsive cell culture beads in which a polymer having an electrical charge and exhibiting a varying hydration force within a temperature range of 0−80°C is fixed on the surface of particles comprising a material having a specific gravity of 1.2 or less. Using these beads makes it possible to culture a large number of cells in an efficient manner and to detach the cells efficiently merely by changing the temperature of a substrate surface.
