Abstract:
A system (100) for monitoring a user includes a garment (110) configured to be placed on a foot of the user, a cover (130) coupled to the garment (110), and a sensor (124) arrangement between the garment (110) and the cover (130), wherein the sensor (124) arrangement comprises at least one temperature sensor (124) to measure at least one temperature on the foot of the user. A method (400) for making a system for monitoring a user includes forming a sensor arrangement including at least one sensor lead coupled to a temperature sensor (420), positioning at least a portion of the sensor arrangement on a garment configured to be placed on a foot of the user (430), and enclosing at least the portion of the sensor arrangement between the garment and a cover (440).
