Abstract:
An inexpensive temperature switch comprising a minimum number of components and easily fixed especially to a ceramic substrate or the like. In the temperature switch, a cut portion of the substrate is formed of a first step cut portion (26) and a second step cut portion (27) which are made from the side part toward the central part. At the fixing part of a movable plate (22) in the temperature switch, a pawl portion (28) and a resilient locking portion (29) having a hooked cross-section are formed contiguously to the pawl portion (28) on the upstream side in the sliding direction shown by an arrow (q). When the pawl portion (28) is fitted in the second step cut part (27), the distal end (29-1) of the resilient locking portion (29) butts against the upper surface (21-1) at the end of the substrate to warp upward reversibly. When the pawl portion (28) slides in the direction of the first step cut portion (26) and the movable plate (22) is secured to the substrate (21), the resilient locking portion (29) is restored from warp-upward and the distal end (29-1) advances into the second step cut part (27), thus securing the pawl portion (28) to a position where the first step cut portion (26) is caught.
