Abstract:
A terminal apparatus of the present invention comprises: a first communication unit for communicating with a first communication apparatus; and a second communication unit that is connected to a communication network to which a second communication apparatus is connected. The second communication unit, when interrupted during a standby mode, transitions to an initial processing mode. The second communication unit, when having transitioned to the initial processing mode, transmits a beacon request. If the second communication unit can receive no beacon until a wait period elapses after the transmission of the beacon request, then the second communication unit transitions to the standby mode. If the second communication unit receives the beacon before the wait period elapses, then the second communication unit determines that the second communication apparatus exists.
