Abstract:
Provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure are a terminal authentication method and device, which are applied to a platform comprising an access server and an authentication server, wherein first authentication data is pre-configured in a terminal, and second authentication data of the terminal is pre-configured in the authentication server, the method comprising: the access server receiving the first authentication data sent by the terminal; the access server querying the second authentication data of the terminal from the authentication server; the access server authenticating the terminal according to the first authentication data and the second authentication data. In the process of authentication, access services undertake the main authentication computing work, which may greatly reduce the authentication computing work of the terminal, thus reducing the resources and energy consumption of the terminal. When the resources and energy supply of an Internet of Things are very limited, identity authentication may still be achieved, so that the terminal, in the process of communication, reduces the chance of being attacked by intermediaries or phishing attacks, thereby improving the security of communication.
