Abstract:
A base station comprising: memory for holding information relating to P terminals (P: an integer of 3 or greater) connected with the base station; a determination unit whereby, for each data transmission cycle, L terminals (L: an integer that satisfies 2 ≤ L < P) are determined from among the P terminals on the basis of the information relating to the P terminals, the L terminals transmitting a reference code used in measuring channel state information that indicates the state of a transmission path that has the base station on one end; a selection unit for selecting M terminals (M: an integer that satisfies 2 ≤ M ≤ L) that can perform spatial multiplex communication in a data transmission cycle on the basis of the results of measuring the channel state information that is based on the reception of the reference signal transmitted from the L terminals; and a communication unit for receiving data transmitted from each of the M terminals, using spatial multiplex communication via a plurality of antennas.
