Abstract:
A battery safety monitoring method comprising the following steps: acquiring the duration in which a terminal device remains in a constant-voltage charging phase when charging (S1); determining whether the duration is greater than a preset time (S2); and if the duration is greater than or equal to the preset time, then determining that an abnormality is present in a battery of the terminal device (S3). The battery safety monitoring method determines whether an abnormality is present in the battery by means of monitoring the duration in which the battery remains in the constant-voltage charging phase so as to allow timely notification and repair, thus preventing potential safety hazards due to battery abnormality. Also disclosed are a battery safety monitoring system, a terminal device, and an adapter.
