Abstract:
This terminal device (UE) is provided with a receiving unit configured to monitor multiple enhanced physical downlink control channels (EPDCCH) in a secondary cell, and is configured such that, if said secondary cell is a license assisted access secondary cell and an upper layer parameter of that secondary cell indicates that the start position of a downlink transmission is either a subframe boundary or a slot boundary, then the terminal device monitors both a first set of candidates in a terminal device-specific search space of a first EPDCCH in a subframe and a second set of candidates of a terminal device-specific search space of a second EPDCCH, the start symbol of the first EPDCCH is defined by an index in a first slot in the subframe, and the start symbol of the second EPDCCH is defined by the aforementioned index in a second slot in the subframe.
