Abstract:
A terminal device (10A) for an electrical appliance control system (1A) as laid out in the present invention is provided with: a positional information detection unit (101) which detects positional information representing a current position; a storage unit (106) which stores information representing a position of a house of a user as reference positional information; an at-home assessment unit (102) which, on the basis of the current positional information of the user and the reference positional information, assesses whether or not the user is at home; an off condition assessment unit (103) which, if the user is assessed to be not at home by the at-home assessment unit (102), assesses whether or not the at-home status of the user matches the power supply off condition for turning off a power supply of an electrical appliance (30) provided in the home; and a communication unit (105) which, if the at-home status of the user is assessed to match the power supply off condition by the off condition assessment unit (103), transmits an instruction signal for turning off the power supply of the electrical appliance (30).
