Abstract:

[Problem] To enable the time required before the start of communication via a wireless network to be shortened. [Solution] Provided is a terminal device provided with: an acquisition unit which acquires authentication information provided by another terminal device that performs mobile communication in a mobile communication network; and an authentication execution unit which, using the authentication information, performs an authentication procedure for connection with a wireless network different from the mobile communication network. The authentication information includes information provided by a subscriber identification module of the other terminal device, or information generated on the basis of this information. The acquisition unit acquires at least part of the authentication information before the start of the authentication procedure.
