Abstract:
Provided is a terminal fitting configured in such a manner that the possibility of shear breakage of a lance due to a size reduction is minimized and that the terminal fitting is held by an increased holding force. A terminal fitting (15) installed in a terminal containing chamber, which is formed in a connector housing, and engaged with an elastically deformable lance provided in the terminal containing chamber. A bite resistance increasing section (61) for increasing the bite resistance of the lance is formed at an engagement end surface (11) at the edge of an engagement hole (27) with which the lance is engaged.
