Abstract:
Provided is a terminal for improving the convenience of a user who has not finished a registration procedure for using biometric authentication. The terminal comprises an assessment request unit and a registration unit. The assessment request unit transmits, to a server device, an assessment request that includes biometric information of a subject person for whom an assessment is to be made as to whether or not system registration for advancing a prescribed procedure using an authentication terminal that supports biometric authentication has been carried out. When the system registration of the subject person has not been carried out, the registration unit transmits, to the server device, a token issuance request that includes the biometric information of the subject person for whom system registration has not been carried out. By transmitting the token issuance request, the registration unit requests the server device to carry out the system registration of the subject person for whom system registration has not been carried out.
