Abstract:

A tetrafluoroethylene/ethylene copolymer excellent in flexibility, durability, light transmission, strength, and nontackiness; and a use thereof. In the copolymer, the ratio of the amount of tetrafluoroethylene units to that of ethylene units is from 35/65 to 65/35 (by mole). The copolymer contains 1 to 10 mol% alkylvinyl ester (in which the alkyl has 5 to 17 carbon atoms, provided that it has 9 to 17 carbon atoms when branched), is crystalline, and has a volumetric flow rate of 1 to 1,000 mm?3¿/sec.
