Title:
TETS POSTAL ENVELOPE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/062075
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to mail service, more specifically to the structural design of postal envelopes and folders preventing from sending powdered poisons and microorganisms. The aim of the invention is to develop an envelope and a folder which prevent from sending powdered materials, in such a way that microbes are not preserved therein in a quantity corresponding a contamination dose. The inventive envelope and folder are characterised in that the multiple cuts or holes of different shapes and dimensions (from 2 to 20 mm) are embodied on four sides thereof where they are folded (on edges), the shape of said cuts and holes being dependent on a paper strength and envelop dimensions. The large sized holes can allow a letter to be removed and reintroduced. The large sized holes can also allow the letter to be read without opening it. The cuts are alternated with a solid edge having equal dimensions. The results of an experimental verification confirming the impossibility of sending a contamination dose are also disclosed.
