Abstract:

A text address processing method and apparatus. The method comprises: determining at least one address set according to a social circle of a user in a service system, where each address set comprises: at least two original text addresses (101); for each address set, performing normalization processing on the original text addresses in the address set, to obtain a target text address corresponding to the address set (102). In the method, original text addresses to be normalized are categorized by using a social circle of a user, so that in one aspect, the range of original text addresses to be normalized is reduced, and in another aspect, the normalization of a text address is locked among text addresses that have a certain relationship, so that the fault-tolerance boundary between text addresses can be managed more easily, thereby helping to improve the accuracy of a normalization result.
