Abstract:
Disclosed are a textile article identification device and textile article gripping system provided with the textile article identification device capable of identifying a textile article easily and with high precision. A textile article gripping system (100) grips a textile article positioned on a first platform (40A), then deploys the gripped textile article and leaves thereof on a second platform (40B), and is mainly provided with textile article processing robots (gripping devices) (10), textile article identification devices (50) including a second platform (40B) and a portion (determination portion) of a control unit (30), and cameras (16). Textile article determination software, which is a main portion of the determination unit, determines a predetermined area of the textile article on the basis of the transmitted amount of light for a textile article that has been obtained from image data captured by the cameras (16).
