Title:
TEXTURE REPRODUCTION DEVICE, TEXTURE REPRODUCTION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/130716
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a texture reproduction device that sets an optical characteristic for a target texture and computes an emission characteristic of target emission light on the basis of planar angles in pixel positions including a position of interest within the surface of a selected projection subject, an incidence characteristic of incident light from a projection part serving as a virtual light source, the optical characteristic of the target texture, and an optical characteristic of the surface of the selected projection subject. The texture reproduction device controls the incidence characteristic of the incident light from the projection part so that an emission characteristic of emission light becomes the emission characteristic of the target emission light, and uses the projection part to project the incident light having the incidence characteristic controlled on the surface of the selected projection subject including the position of interest, thereby reproducing the optical characteristic of the target texture on the surface of the selected projection subject including the position of interest.
