Abstract:
This thawing method for frozen goods (21) is a method for thawing frozen goods (21) within a container (10), through the application of AC voltage of 10 V to 5 kV, inclusive, to the frozen goods (21), in such a way that an electrical current of 1 μA to 1,000 mA, inclusive, flows to the frozen goods (21), the method being provided with a semi-thawing step for controlling the temperature inside the container (10) while applying AC voltage to the frozen goods (21), bringing the frozen goods (21) to a semi-thawed state, and a holding step for halting application of AC voltage to the frozen goods (21), and holding the frozen goods (21) while maintaining a semi-thawed state.
