A thermal desorption sampling apparatus, a thermal desorption device, and an ion migration spectrometer detection device. The thermal desorption sampling apparatus comprises a holder (01) for holding a carrier (04) for an absorbed sample, and a desorption chamber (07) defining a closed desorption chamber (07) space for heating the carrier (04) for the absorbed sample within the desorption chamber (07) space, such that the sample is desorbed from the carrier (04), wherein the desorption chamber (07) is capable of allowing the carrier (04) held by the holder (01) to be inserted into the desorption chamber (07) from a first end of the desorption chamber (07); and part of the carrier (04) is held by the holder (01) when the desorption chamber (07) is heated to thermally desorb the absorbed sample on the carrier (04), the holder (01) seals the first end of the desorption chamber (07), and at least a part of the carrier (04) is sealed within the desorption chamber (07).
