Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermal inkjet recording method for ejecting water-based ink including polymeric particles containing a pigment from a recording head by the action of thermal energy, wherein, among all constitutional units of a polymer constituting the polymeric particle, an acrylic acid ester-derived constitutional unit having a hydrocarbon radical with a carbon number of 3-8 inclusive is 78-88 mass% inclusive, and an acrylic acid-derived constitutional unit is 12-22 mass% inclusive, [2] to a water dispersion for thermal inkjet recording which is used for the method, [3] to water-based ink for thermal inkjet recording which contains the water dispersion, and [4] to the use of the ink for a thermal inkjet recording system.
