Title:
THERMAL INSULATION DEVICE AND THERMAL INSULATION METHOD FOR PIPE AND CONTAINER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/102777
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a device and a method for maintaining the temperature of a material flowing through a pipe and/or the temperature of a material inside a container. [Solution] Provided is a thermal insulation device and a thermal insulation method for a pipe and a container, the device and the method being characterized by: having a structure in which the outer periphery of a pipe and/or a container is covered with a panel-shaped material, a hollow cylindrical material is installed, the inside of which is filled with a gas having a pressure at or above atmospheric pressure, on an outer peripheral section of the panel-shaped material, and the outer periphery of the cylindrical material is covered with a panel-shaped material; a thermal insulation layer of air being formed between the surface of the pipe and/or the container and the panel-shaped material covering the outer periphery of the pipe and/or the container; and a sealed space being formed by closing two ends of a space constituted by the panel-shaped material covering the outer periphery of the pipe and/or the container and the panel-shaped material covering the outer periphery of the cylindrical material, which has been installed in a helical, continuous U-shaped tubular, or other shape on the outer peripheral section of the pipe or the container, and this sealed space serving as a vacuum insulation layer.
