Abstract:
This thermal print head is provided with a base material, a glazed layer, a resistor layer including a plurality of heat generating parts, and a wiring layer through which electric power is distributed in the plurality of heat generating parts. The plurality of heat generating parts are positioned on the opposite side of the glazed layer to the base material in a first direction, and are arranged along a second direction. The base material contains silicon dioxide. The base material has a first main surface, a second main surface and a third main surface all of which face the first direction. The glazed layer covers the first main surface. The second main surface and the third main surface are positioned on opposite sides to each other with respect to the first main surface in a third direction. The positions of the second main surface and the third main surface in the first direction are different from the position of the first main surface in the first direction.
