Abstract:
Disclosed are a thermo-sensitive color-developing liquid crystal microcapsule comprising a core material and a wall material, a preparation method therefor, and a thermo-sensitive color-developing container coated with the thermo-sensitive color-developing liquid crystal microcapsule. In the thermo-sensitive color-developing liquid crystal microcapsule, the core material is a cholesteric liquid crystal, and the wall material is formed by the polymerization of a polyisocyanate, wherein the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate are partially modified with an organic matter. The temperature-sensitive color-developing liquid crystal microcapsule can display different colors in different temperature ranges and alongside temperature changes on the basis of different liquid crystal formulations acting as the core material, and the reflectivity can be greatly improved, thereby increasing the brightness of the displayed color. By adding an auxiliary wall material, the solvent resistance and stability of the liquid crystal microcapsule can be significantly improved, and at the same time, the reflectivity is further improved.
