Abstract:
A surgical clamp (10) includes a clamping portion (24) with first and second legs (32) (34) that are spaced apart and extend from different sides of the clamping portion (24). A shaft (100) extends through the first and second legs (32) (34) and has an actuating mechanism (80) threadably engaging the shaft (100) between the first and second legs (32)(34). The actuating mechanism (80) is movable to force the first and second legs (32) (34) to move in opposing directions thereby placing the clamping portion (24) into a clamping position.
