Abstract:
It is difficult to provide, as an industrial product, a threaded joint for an oil well pipe that has excellent galling resistance in a pin pipe end-side thread section thereof using the prior art. Provided is a threaded joint for an oil well pipe that has excellent galling resistance and that is characterized by comprising a premium joint in which the ratio L/p of a pin thread chamfer length (L) to a thread pitch (p) is 1.0-3.0.
