Title:
THREE-STAGE MILLSTONES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/163760
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to three-stage millstones which are configured to: have a three-stage structure including a top stone, a middle stone, and a bottom stone, and thus can grind grains two times, i.e. between the top stone and the middle stone and between the middle stone and the bottom stone, thereby grinding the grains more finely and accordingly making food taste much better; expose the millstone shape to the outside, thereby creating a traditional atmosphere; and discharge the ground grains from the center of the bottom stone, thereby enabling easy treatment of ground grains. The three-stage millstones of the present invention comprise: a top stone having, in the center thereof, a grain insertion hole (11) into which grains to be ground are inserted, and an inlet path (12) for moving inserted grains to the bottom; a middle stone, positioned below the top stone, for enabling the grains entering the center of the upper surface through the inlet path (12) of the top stone to flow to the periphery, and primarily grinding the grains by means of a compression force between the middle stone and the top stone; a bottom stone, positioned below the middle stone, for secondarily grinding the grains by means of a compression force between the bottom stone and the middle stone; a middle stone rotation means for enabling the middle stone to be rotatable and making the top stone and the bottom stone unrotatable; and an actuating means for rotating the middle stone. The upper surface diameter of the bottom stone is larger than the lower surface diameter of the middle stone, and the periphery of the upper surface of the bottom stone, which extends farther than the middle stone, is formed to be sloped so that grains flow to the inner side, thereby enabling the ground grains entering from the periphery of the middle stone to flow to the center. In addition, the bottom stone has a discharge path through which the ground grains are discharged.
