Abstract:
A time-of-flight-based addressing and ranging method and ranging system. The addressing method comprises: a light emitter emitting detection light (S310); a sensing module receiving the detection light reflected by a target object (S320); generating, according to the detection light, a sensing signal representing a relationship between signal intensity sensed by the sensing module and time (S330); the sensing signal being formed by accumulating signals sensed within time periods corresponding to sensing regions of the sensing module, and each time period only reflecting the signal intensity sensed in the corresponding sensing region in the sensing signal; and obtaining a time of flight according to the sensing signal (S340). The time period corresponding to each sensing region is associated with scheme design of the system. The addressing and ranging method and ranging system can save a data storage space, thereby reducing the occupied area of a memory.
