Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a time measurement device which can reduce power consumption. The time measurement device (1) of the present disclosure is provided with: pixels (PZ) each having a light receiving element (31) and being able to generate a pulse signal (a pixel signal SIG) including logical pulses on the basis of a light reception result in the light receiving element; a timing detection unit (a counter unit 123) which can detect a light reception timing at the light receiving element on the basis of the pulse signal; a pulse number detection unit (a time measurement unit 124) which can detect the number of pulses of the logical pulses included in the pulse signal; and a control unit (27) which can control an operation of a light source (11) that emits a plurality of light pulses on the basis of the number of pulses.
